This Privacy Policy describes how “BookDue” (the “App”) handles user information.

Information We Collect

• The App does not collect any personally identifiable information.
• Data such as your registered items, libraries, and borrowers are stored on your device or in your own iCloud account, and are never accessed or viewed by the developer.

Third-Party Services

The App may query the following external services to retrieve bibliographic information (title, author, cover image, etc.) based on the barcode number scanned:

• openBD (book ISBN)
• Google Books API (book ISBN)
• Yahoo! Shopping Product Search API (CD/DVD JAN code)

Only the barcode number is sent. Information such as item titles, library names, and borrower names is never transmitted externally. Queries are made only when a barcode is scanned, and scanning is optional — all items can be entered manually.

Third-Party Disclosure

• The App does not provide user information to any third parties.

Notifications

• The App uses the system notification feature to alert you before registered due dates.

Analytics and Advertising

• The App does not currently use any analytics tools or advertising services.

Changes to This Policy

• This policy may be updated without prior notice as needed.
